Limiting beliefs are simply beliefs we have that give rise to emotions that we feel limit us.
As we’ve learned, when emotions limit us, it’s because something feels unsafe. They’re trying to protect us.
Therefore, it means the underlying belief, called “limiting”, is about something we believe is unsafe.
Which means it was probably created through some degree of traumatic experience.
In the end, as you know, the job of that belief is to keep us safe, so it’s actually a protective belief. It limits us to protect us.
And the key for it to stop limiting us is to bring safety to it – that’s Healing.
