    With children, how do you not bring judgment to their reactive reactions that might cause shame etc, when socially certain reactive reactions aren’t acceptable for the greater good like hitting for example?

    In CEB we make it key to distinguish between the action and the agent. You can condemn the action while keeping compassion for the person. The same can be applied to parts. Parts are not their behaviors. You can understand and validate the part who took that action while demonstrating how that action is hurtful and offering different ones that can better meet its needs. The part will be relieved and grateful.
